The gallery is a listed building, dating back to the 17th Century.  With its stone fireplace, oak beams and panelling, it provides a perfect backdrop for the beautiful paintings which adorn the walls.

A working gallery, the atmosphere is nostalgic: evoked partly by the artist Anthony J. Avery working at his easel, and partly by the historic setting.

Anthony's two unique series of paintings - the Romany Collection and the Painted Lady Collection - are widely sought after.  Come to the Man of Ross Gallery and see these pictures for yourself!

Located in the centre of the picturesque Herefordshire town of Ross-on-Wye, the gallery is easy to find, and is normally open 11am - 6pm every day (except Sundays).   Please phone to check these times if you are travelling some distance to visit.
